One thing they’re doing well in this part of Australia is encouraging both boys and girls to take up cricket. This is being done by Cricket Australia with sponsorship from the drinks manufacturer Milo; hence the programme is called Milo in2Cricket.
Of course the weather helps, but what is really encouraging is seeing the involvement of proper coaches in a programme open to all. Here a few snippets of Ewan bowling – he was actually much better than is shown here.
