What a wonderful day! Not only was the weather set fair but the New House Country Hotel was prepared and tables were laid for the wonderful meal to follow. The invitation was 12:30 for 13:00 and everyone we knew was coming made it for the start-time. It was really wonderful of you all to make the time available, and for many of you to travel the long distances that you did, just to be with us on our special day. Remembering, recalling, re-living in some instances, and reflecting on our wedding day 40 years previously. So many thanks to those who contributed so much to our wonderful day by being with us.
The speeches.
A wonderful lunch, afternoon and evening at the New House Country Hotel spent with family and friends. I talk about our journey, am contradicted a couple of times and propose a toast to my dear wife who has had to put up with me for more than 40 years, including my “addiction” to this “IT-stuff”.
